Team Synthesis

Effective and successful teams have most, if not all, of the following characteristics:

  • Definable membership.
  • Group consciousness; having a perception of themslves, willingly or not, as a group, with a collective perception of unity and a sense of identification with each other.
  • Sense of shared purpose.
  • Interdependence; members need the help of one another to accomplish the purpose that brought the group together.
  • Interaction; members communicate with each other, purposefully or not - and influence each other, intentionally or not.
  • A team has the capability to act in an integrated and unitary manner; teams can work as cohesive structures as if a single entity.

Our role, as masters of change, is to develop these characteristics within your team, and, put quite simply, that is what we excell at.

The production of a team matrix of results can be used to enhance awareness, build acceptance and mutual respect within the group. In difficult cases we can usually 'fix' what is broken. The end result is greater cohesiveness and increased productivity.
