Coaching - definitions and expectations

Coaching is the process of helping another person to perform and achieve at the peak of their abilities, even when that peak is beyond their previous capabilities and beyond what he or she thought was possible. Coaching is the art and science of facilitating the performance, learning and development of another.

An effective coach has abilities and beliefs that can stimulate another to their full potential by drawing out the peson's inherent strengths and resourcefulness, through a process of observation, questioning, encouragement, feedback and change. The focus of coaching is identifying and achieving specific goals, and ensuring these goals are structured and thought about in ways that guarantee success. Using a systematic approach towards achievement, the coaching process defines what a person actually needs to do, to learn, to think, in a step-by-step process, to get what they want out of life.

Philip Hayes and Pamela Hayes are masters of the coaching process. We can provide measurable 'proof' of the effectiveness of the coaching we do based around the CORE software diagnosis and reports that we use. This numerical validation of change can be read in conjunction with observed benefits and progress made by any team or individual.
